Meet the Founders

Juan Perez Juan Perez is a U.S. Navy veteran and certified firearms instructor with a professional background in security operations, leadership, and tactical instruction. Throughout his career, he has worked in protective security, firearms training, and team leadership, developing a passion for building capable individuals through structured, practical training. As Executive Director of Milsim Directive, Juan oversees organizational strategy, operations, curriculum development, and event planning. His vision is to create a professional training environment where participants develop leadership, communication, teamwork, and decision-making through realistic, scenario based exercises. He believes that effective training extends beyond technical skills it builds confidence, accountability, and the ability to perform under pressure. That philosophy continues to shape every course, Field Training Exercise, and program offered by Milsim Directive.

Eduardo Gonzalez Eduardo Gonzalez, though a young leader, has consistently demonstrated ambition and initiative. Unsatisfied with the level of training and airsoft experiences available to him, he took it upon himself—despite having limited formal knowledge in military operations—to create his own event, Operation Last Stand. This event marked a turning point, ultimately laying the foundation for what would become Milsim Directive.

Following Operation Last Stand, Eduardo attended the Army ROTC Basic Camp, where he further developed his leadership abilities and expanded his understanding of tactical operations. Motivated to apply and refine these skills, he began organizing small-scale Field Training Exercises (FTXs). These early FTXs proved successful and reinforced his vision for more structured, realistic training.

Despite these accomplishments, Eduardo recognized there was still significant room for improvement. Determined to elevate both the quality of training and the overall experience, he continued refining his approach—an effort that would later be strengthened through collaboration with Juan Perez and the continued growth of Milsim Directive.
